The goal of this project is to reduce vehicle speeds on busy shared roads by installing speed bumps, improving safety for children, Elders, and other community members.
The reserve is made up of several small, busy area. Some sections have clusters of houses, while others include playgrounds, band offices, the school, and more. Because there are no sidewalks, all community members, people walking, biking, and driving, share the same roads. Children often have to walk on the road as they travel to and from school. To help keep everyone safe, the goal of this project is to slow down vehicle traffic by installing speed bumps.
